An introduction
Who the Hell Is Don Biggly?
By every metric his own team was willing to sign, Don Biggly is the most decorated hospitality visionary ever to operate within nautical miles of an active geopolitical incident. Many people say this. The people who say it are paid, but they say it.
He holds honorary credentials from institutions that have asked not to be named, and several awards he commissioned, presented to himself, and accepted with visible emotion. The “Admiral” is honorary. He conferred it. The uniform is real, which his tailor describes as “the only verifiable part.”
The empire began, as all great empires do, with a waterfront nobody else wanted and a disclaimer nobody else would read. Today Booze on Hormuz spans an Exclusion Zone of unrivaled amenities — a shrimp tower visible from two countries, financing available against the news cycle, and a concierge desk that doubles, when required, as a legal department.
He has never been charged with anything that stuck, a record his counsel characterizes as “basically an acquittal.” His philosophy is simple, gold-bound, and printed on a card he will hand you whether or not you ask: be together, be inspired, be briefed by counsel.
A fuller biography is being prepared by people who are not under oath. It will be tremendous. It will also be reviewed, redacted, and — where legally advisable — denied.
